Sixty days free, then ₹199 a month — or ₹1,499 a year.
Per household, not per person — up to four people on one set of books, at one price. No card to start, no tier that withholds a feature, and nothing that gets cheaper by making somebody else pay for it.
Everything the paid product does. No card taken, so nothing starts charging when it ends.
Billed to the household each month, and renewed by you rather than by a standing mandate. Cancel from Settings, and the books stay yours.
Saves ₹889 against paying monthly — about ₹125 a month.
Paid once, for the first 100 households. No renewal, no expiry, nothing further to pay.
All prices in INR. Ahead is a web application; there is no app store listing.
What a lifetime plan means, exactly
One payment of ₹4,999 — no renewal, no expiry, no card kept on file — for the first 100 households only. If you change your mind, it is refunded in full within 15 days of paying, for any reason.
It is the lifetime of the product rather than of the buyer, and that distinction is the honest one: if Ahead is ever shut down, it will be announced with notice and your export will keep working — a zip of CSVs of everything you have entered, which is the same export every household gets, paid or not, on any plan.
And your money comes back, on a published scale. The price is treated as paying for 5 years. If Ahead is discontinued before those are up, the years not delivered are refunded — a fifth of the price for each of them, rounded up in your favour.
Why one price and not three tiers
A tier structure means deciding which households get the honest version. The runway is exactly the feature a tight month needs, so putting it behind a higher plan would be selling the answer to the people least able to buy it.
Charging per person has the same problem in a different shape: a household budget that a partner cannot open is not a household budget. One price covers everyone on the books — up to four of them, which is a household rather than a company. There is no seat to buy and none to run out of.
Two months is long enough to know.
- No card
- Nothing starts charging when the trial ends.
- Nothing to connect
- No bank login, and nothing reads your SMS.
- Export whenever
- A zip of CSVs, paid or not.
