Wait before you buy: the Wishlist
Write down something you want instead of buying it. After a wait you choose, Ahead asks again: Still want it, or Let it go. What you let go adds up.
Adding something
On the Wishlist screen
- Open Wishlist. On a phone it is under More.
- Press Want something.
- Fill in What is it and Roughly what it costs. A guess is fine.
- Under Wait how long, choose the number of days before Ahead asks you again. 30 is usual.
- Press Add to the list.
When the wait is over
Until then the item is under Still cooling. When its days are up, it moves to Ready to decide, with two buttons.
Let it go means you decided not to buy it. Its amount is added to Let go at the top of the screen: money you did not spend.
Still want it means you bought it. Ahead asks which transaction it was, so you can link the purchase. If you have not recorded it yet, press Skip for now and link it later.
| What happens | Let go |
|---|---|
| You let go of headphones for ₹29,990 | ₹29,990 |
| You let go of a jacket for ₹4,500 | ₹34,490 |
You let go of headphones for ₹29,990
- Let go
- ₹29,990
You let go of a jacket for ₹4,500
- Let go
- ₹34,490
You do not have to wait. While an item is still cooling, you can press Let it go, or Bought it if you bought it anyway.
Changing your mind
Decided items are under Decided. Press Undo to put one back on the list. The days you already waited still count.
Remove is different from Let it go. It deletes the item as if you never wanted it, and it does not count in Let go. Open the item and press Remove.
